The Itinerary
- Registration at 8:30 at Northaven UMC
- Opening/greeting at 9 am
- 9:30- go to discussion/breakout groups (a) JFON (b) Wesley Rankin/Beth Ctr update (c) UMCOR/VIM (d) Prison ministry
- 10:30 break
- 10:45- gather for final session with worship service.
- Lunch-assorted salads $10, please provide count from each unit to Carolyn Melton crln.melton@gmail.com
We are very excited to announce our featured speaker will be Emmett Solomon, retired chaplain for State of Texas Prison System. This excellent speaker has been involved in convincing the State of Texas to adopt “Smart Justice”. He started ministry called Restorative Justice Ministries Network of Texas to try to bring healing to those impacted by incarceration.
Supporting Biblical solutions to criminal justice problems since 1996, the mission is to reach the following people and their families: criminal offenders, victims, and criminal justice professionals.
