First United Methodist Church of Bonham is seeking an energetic staff person to direct ministries to church and community through our Family Life Center facility and with children and youth at the church. The Director of Ministries for the Family Life Center and Christian Education will provide recreation opportunities for the families, youth, and children of the community and outreach ministries through the programming and effective use of the Family Life Center facilities.
The Director will coordinate and direct ministries and programs for and with the church and community, especially the youth and children of First United Methodist Church, to reach, teach, and equip disciples to serve in the name of Christ.
Prerequisites: The director will be expected to evidence the work and life of a faithful disciple of Christ. A degree, computer skills, background check, First Aid and CPR are required.
