Wheatland UMC in Dallas hosted 31 churches for an Old-Fashioned Hymn Singing and Ice Cream Social last month. A total of 121 people attended, Wheatland’s largest turnout for the event. Choir director Wesley McCall led the singing,and an offering for school supplies collected more than $700. The supplies were given out Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Wheatland Life Center.
