The United Methodist Women of Friberg-Cooper UMC in Wichita Falls were decked out in biblical costumes as they portrayed six of the top 100 women of the Bible on Aug. 12.
The Good News Reporter (Becky Patterson) interviewed Miriam (Beverley Borron), Deborah (Alice Shaffer), Esther (Linda McCluskey), Mary of Nazareth (Beverly Jansa), Lydia of Thyatira (Shara Morton) and Priscilla (Sandy Hamilton). Sometimes they were partners in mission for the Lord; sometimes they pushed reform; some saw visions of things to come, and some quietly did loving and caring acts for neighbors.
