Cokesbury Key Account Manager

The Cokesbury bookstore in Dallas has an opening for a Key Account Manager. The KAM represents Cokesbury as a member of the local bookstore management team with assistant manager duties, providing supervision and leadership to staff in conjunction with the Store Manager. Primary responsibilities include work inside the retail store as well as outside church visitation. Responsibilities inside the store include customer service, merchandising, staff training, supervision, and general management of store operations. The Key Account Manager also serves local congregations by developing and strengthening relationships with church leaders and denominational offices though church visitation and outside events.
Requirements include excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills with outstanding phone etiquette. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, with good time management and problem-solving skills. Basic proficiency with PCs, including word processing and spreadsheet software (MS Word and Excel preferred). Knowledge of the United Methodist Church and other mainline Protestant churches, their programs, and resource needs is strongly preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to serve the assigned geographic market.
