Business/Facility Manager

Hamilton Park United Methodist Church, Dallas, Texas, a spirit led church in the Northeast Dallas area is currently seeking a Part Time Business/Facility Manager.

Applicants should have a BS/BA in Finance/Accounting, with at least 3 years experience; or have a High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experience in finance / accounting. This Part Time Salaried position normally requires 20+ hours per week, while managing and evaluating all building service workers (on-site), and being present at each weekly staff meeting with the Pastor.

Responsibilities include executing an accounting system to track church financial transactions, generate reports for the Finance committee, Staff Pastor/Parish committee and Charge Conference, as well as keeping all required permits up to date. This person would also validate vouchers and time sheets submitted for payment, and coordinate these functions with the church Bookkeeper. Duties also include preparing, recording and distributing employee payroll, coordinate employee benefits, enrollment and contribution changes, and oversee use of church credit card; as well as scheduling the use of the building in keeping with the church policies. This person will also need to support our Church vision, outlined in Jeremiah 29:11.
