Joseph P. Stobaugh was born in Oklahoma, OK. Joe earned a B. Music, University of North Texas, Denton, studying music education and saxophone. He earned a M.Sacred Music, magna cum laude, Perkins School of Theology, SMU. Joe has been awarded the 2003 Fellowship Seminarian Award by the Fellowship of UM Music and Worship Arts and is a member of the Choristers Guild and American Choral Directors Association.He served as minister of music at First UMC, Longview, and is currently on Special Appointment to the Southwest Texas Conference. He is serving in music ministry at Travis UMC, San Antonio, directing the children,
youth and sanctuary choirs. Joe and his wife, Sarah, live in Converse with daughter, Eleanore Grace.
