Lookout Point, Hot Springs, AR, welcomes couples to participate in the first annual “Dessert for the Couples’ Soul” retreat Oct. 2-4.
The retreat will be led by NTC elder Rev. Georjean Blanton, Path-Ways Ministries, and her husband Dr. Mike Renquist.
As part of the retreat experience, participants will refresh their interaction with one another through focusing on their individual differences by using a behavior and communication styles inventory. Couples will explore more effective communication skills, both listening and speaking, and by practicing simple exercises to enhance the language of love as seen in appropriate words of affirmation, gifts, touch and serving.
Drs. Blanton and Renquist recently celebrated 20 years of marriage with a renewal of vows at Lookout Point. They have extensive experience in consulting, coaching, counseling, training, teaching, and leading individuals, couples and groups of all sizes.
To grow in love through “Dessert for the Soul Couples’ Retreat,” reserve early. Space is limited. Register by Sept. 1 for $1,265, or register after that date for $1,365.
