First UMC, DeSoto, gleans blueberries in East Texas

The Helping Hands Gleaning Ministry of First UMC, DeSoto, hosted a July 21 mission trip to glean blueberries in a field near Athens, TX. Volunteers gleaned 140 pounds of berries, which will go to agencies that feed the poor. Pictured are, from left front, Donna Devling, Rev.
