For Jurisdictional Conference, the delegates agreed that priority one is to ensure that the NTC receives the best bishop available for 2008-2012. The second is to elect the best bishops possible, with the hope that one will be from the NTC.

Bishop Alfred L. Norris will be host bishop for Jurisdictional Conference. Casad and Rev. Dorff are coordinators for hospitality and local arrangements. Among the NTC team members are Alys Richards, Scott Smith, Rev. Paul Escamilla, and Marsha Gordon, Gloria Scott, and Revs. Paul Gould, Van Lazaroff, Jim Pledger, Duane VanGiesen, and Joan G. LaBarr.

The Hilton Anatole, Dallas, will be the conference hotel, and all business sessions will occur there. First UMC, Dallas, will be site of opening worship at 6:30 p.m. July 16 and the service of consecration for new bishops at 10:30 a.m. July 19.
