Katrina appeal honors volunteers

donations to the Katrina Church Recovery Appeal to rebuild ministries in the Gulf Coast. More than 63,000 volunteers from 42 states, two foreign countries and 60 annual conferences have come to the aid of the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina stormed ashore Aug. 29, 2005.

The 24-member Promiseland Singers children's choir represented the children's ministry during consecration services at Fellowship UMC, Trophy Club.
