'Connections' concert to benefit NBN
The "Connections" Band, composed of NTC clergy who play for love of music and contributions to mission, will appear at the "Tribute to Dan Fogelberg" concert benefi tting the Nothing But Nets anti-malaria initiative at 7:00 p.m. May 2 at Lovers Lane UMC.
The Lovers Lane Single Adult Ministry is sponsoring this benefit concert, which is open to all. A love offering will be taken to benefi t the NBN Initiative.
Rev. Eric Folkerth, senior pastor of Northaven UMC, Dallas, and one of the leaders of "Connections" says of the concert. "We have a big show coming up at Lovers Lane.Their goal, as I understand it, is to try to raise $10,000 for NBN that night." "We will be doing our "Tribute to Dan Fogelburg, and it is the first time we have done that show since his untimely death last December," Rev. Folkerth said.
