For the fourth straight year, Methodist Health System (MHS) has been named one of the best top ten large businesses to work for in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The announcement was made during the recent Dallas Business Journal's annual "Best Places to Work" luncheon at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Employees who responded to the survey listed recognition programs, continuing education, employee celebrations, volunteer support and opportunities among the perks of working for Methodist. Methodist maintained its sixth place ranking from last year, despite the increasing number of companies participating in the survey.
"Today was another great moment of pride for the employees of Methodist," said Pat Travis, vice president, organizational effectiveness, after attending the luncheon.
"For the fourth year in a row our organization rose to the top as one of the ten outstanding places to work in Dallas-Ft Worth. This is true evidence of the pride and commitment each employee has to making Methodist Health System the Best Place to Work while providing the Best Quality, Service and Value."
With 4,500 employees, Methodist Health System is one of the largest employers in Southwest Dallas County. The Dallas Business Journal survey results were based entirely on employee responses.
