Anti-Racism Team
ANTI-RACISM INITIATIVE:
CASTING DOWN THIS POWER
The goal of the Anti-Racism Team and the Conference Leadership Team of the North Texas Conference is to move the Conference toward an anti-racist identity. Co-chaired by Rev. Reid Fade and Rev. James Minor, the team members reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our conference.
The Mission of the Team is to organize to transform the North Texas Conference into an anti-racist multicultural institution. Our vision statement affirms that the work of the Team depends on the power of God's Holy Spirit to bring about this transformation. We are held together by a mutual covenant as we continue to work toward accomplishing our strategic goals which provide concrete direction for the Team's work. The Anti-Racism Team was founded in 2001 and has accomplished much in its short history.
