A New Vision, A New Voice ~ The North Texas Conference
Pick the Bishop’s Brain at Your District’s Laity Day
The annual sessions with Bishop Michael McKee start this month. Can’t go? Participate online!
Are you scratching your head, wondering when your district’s Laity Day with the Bishop is?
For 2017, the sessions where laity get to hear Bishop Michael McKee’s priorities for the North Texas Conference and pick his brain during Q&As have been pushed into March and April. The reason is practical: Icy weather, or even the threat of it, has interfered with the schedule in the past. (And wouldn’t you know we’d have record-breaking heat in February!)
If it’s still too difficult for you to attend, you can watch the live-streaming and even participate in the North Central District’s session on Saturday, March 18, 2017 — you’re invited no matter which district you live in. To watch the event live, go to friscofumc.org and follow the “Live Streaming” link. Submit questions by texting 469-305-0808 or e-mailing AskTheBishop@friscofumc.org.
