Located on over 200 acres just 40 miles west of Denton in Bridgeport, Texas, Bridgeport Camp and Conference Center (BCCC) sits above Lake Bridgeport and offers an incredible view of the surroundings. BCCC offers summer camps and midwinter retreats for children and youth as a part of their ministry of the North Texas Conference.

One + One

The United Methodist Church of North Texas is recovering the early Methodist roots by engaging with people where they live and work. As in its beginnings, United Methodists in North Texas will tutor and mentor children and help improve their reading skills.

The Conference pledges that each of its 300 churches in the 21 counties will engage with public schools, with 10 percent of its congregation actively building one to one relationships with children in public throughout North Texas. This can be through reading, tutoring or mentoring.
